A well balanced mini tour to spend all the desert magic in few days without missing the charme of Marrakesh, the okra town.
Time required: 3 nights, 4 days
Day 1 – Marrakech/Boumalne Dadès
After breakfast departure towards the South. The direction is Tiz’n Tichka pass (2.260 m.) and then the Middle Atlas Mountains. Next stop in Ouarzazate to continue along the way of the thousand Kasbah and the roses valley. Boumalne Dadès is the destination of the day to have dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Boumalne Dadès/Merzouga
We leave towards the desert with direction of Merzouga. On the way, we can meet fossils, villages set of Hollywood films, and famous Paris-Dakar rally runs. Arrival to the hotel, we leave the car and move to the tented camp on a dromedary to have dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Merzouga/Ait Benhaddou
Starting the day with a wonderful sunrise on the dunes, we come back to the hotel on the dromedary. There is time to have a shower and breakfast before living again towards Ouarzazate. In the evening, we reach Ait Benhaddou, the Ksar listed by the UNESCO World Heritage.
Day 4 – Ait/Marrakech
After Ait Benhaddou, we return to Marrakech along the salt way where the desert caravans move in ancient times. Next stop in Telouet to visit the Kasbah of the last and great Pasha of Marrakesh. Arrival to Marrakesh in the evening.
1. Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dadès.
2. Boumalne Dadès – Merzouga – dunes.
3. Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou.
4. Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
